Ken Dukat is the Managing Partner of Gateway Electric, bringing over 20 years of hands-on electrical contracting experience to the team. He firmly believes that elite quality and total customer satisfaction are non-negotiable standards for every project. While Ken steers the company’s strategic direction, he still enjoys working directly in the field alongside his crew. He prides himself on building strong, genuine relationships with both his employees and fellow contractors.

Deeply invested in his local community, Ken frequently volunteers his time and is an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Outside of work and community service, he is a dedicated family man who loves spending quality time with his wife, Denise, and their three children, Peyton, Patrick, and Parker. An avid outdoorsman, he also enjoys upland hunting with his dog, Sammy.

Ben Stigge is a part-owner of Gateway Electric, where he leads the final division specializing in residential new construction and remodeling projects. Ben began his professional career in the HVAC industry in 2007 before transitioning his focus to electrical services in 2008. With over 18 years of field experience, he has managed numerous projects from initial conception to final completion. He finds the electrical industry particularly rewarding for the constant opportunities for technical growth and the ability to collaborate with homeowners and designers to bring their visions to life. For Ben, there is immense satisfaction in seeing a complex project reach a successful conclusion.

Outside of his professional commitments, Ben is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing. He and his wife, Jamee, have been married for ten years and are the parents of four boys. During the summer months, the family prioritizes time together traveling, camping, and visiting their family farm in Burwell, Nebraska, or relaxing at Lake Calamus.

Hi, I'm Bill, one of the partners at Gateway Electric. I've worked in the electrical industry for more than 15 years, specializing in residential new construction and remodel projects. One of my favorite parts of the job is meeting with customers and helping fine-tune every detail of their home. Seeing a project come together is rewarding, but the greatest compliment is hearing our customers' feedback about the quality workmanship and service our team provides.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Jamie, and our three daughters. Most weekends, you'll find me on the sidelines cheering at soccer games, wrestling tournaments, and dance recitals. Whenever we get a little free time, our family loves being outdoors—whether that's heading out on side-by-side adventures or relaxing together on a beach vacation.

I’m Denise, and I am proud to serve as the office manager at Gateway Electric. I have been a part of the Gateway Electric team for nearly 9 years, bringing with me years of previous office experience. I truly enjoy the many different roles and responsibilities that come with my position.

One thing I love most about my job is that no two days are the same. From managing daily office operations and HR responsibilities to handling clerical tasks, I truly enjoy being involved in all aspects of the business. I especially enjoy the opportunities to plan and coordinate company events, holiday celebrations, community involvement, and team outings that bring our employees, builders, clients, partners, and supply houses together. Being part of Gateway Electric has allowed me to grow alongside an incredibly supportive team, and I am grateful to contribute to a company that values its employees, customers, and community.

Outside of work, my greatest joy is spending time with my husband, Ken, and our three children, Peyton, Patrick, and Parker. You can usually find us cheering on our daughter Peyton at cheer competitions, supporting Patrick at football and basketball games, or keeping up with our toddler Parker, who keeps us on the go.

I love spending time with the people I care about and making memories wherever life takes us. When I’m not busy with family activities, I enjoy watching football and cheering on my favorite team—Go Bills!

Hi, I’m Brandon. I’ve been with Gateway Electric for the past five years, managing our commercial projects and helping grow the business by ensuring smooth, efficient construction processes for contractors and project partners. I take pride in building strong relationships through safe and dependable service, quality installations, meeting deadlines, and being available to solve challenges whenever they arise.

I’ve been passionate about electricity since childhood and began my career as an electrician after graduating high school in 2007. I completed a four-year apprenticeship through Metropolitan Community College and earned my journeyman electrician license in 2011. Over time, I progressed from running smaller projects to managing larger crews and complex installations, earning my master electrician license in 2018. My experience spans residential service work to multi-million-dollar industrial projects.

Hi, I'm Zach, and I’ve spent over 20 years in the electrical field, working across commercial, residential, and control projects. In 2024, I took the next step in my career by joining Gateway Electric as the head of our service department.

While I’m passionate about my work, my real ‘why’ is my family. Everything I do is for my wife, Dayna, and our two daughters, Nora and Isla. We have a full house of animals; I’m a huge lover of all of them. Currently, we’ve got two dogs, Rogue and Riggs, and two cats, Todd and Goose.

When I’m not at work or with my family, you can usually find me on the mats. I’m an avid practitioner of Brazilian jiu-jitsu and spend my free time coaching others in the sport.
